A collection of unsent letters draws two distant lives toward the same coastline. The images are lovely, but the real pleasure is in how gently the story connects memory with the present.
The final letter changes the meaning of an earlier scene without making a spectacle of the reveal. I wanted to sit with the ending for a while.
